Descriptions: Telmisartan is a nonpeptide angiotensin II receptor antagonist which selectively and insurmountably inhibits the angiotensin II AT1 receptor subtype without affecting other receptor systems involved in cardiovascular regulation and used in the management of hypertension. |
Indications: TELSEL 40 is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents. TELSEL 40 is indicated for reduction of the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke. |
Dosage: Dosage must be individualized. The usual starting dose is TELSEL40 is once a day. |
Packing: Each box contains 10 strips of 10 tablets each. |

Indications: TELSEL-H (telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide) tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. This fixed dose combination is not indicated for initial therapy. |
Dosage: The usual starting dose of telmisartan is 40 mg once a day; blood pressure response is dose related over the range of 20-80 mg. Hydrochlorothiazide is effective in doses of 12.5 mg to 50 mg once daily. |
