Aluminum hydroxide is an antacid that works quickly to lower the acid in the stomach.
Magnesium hydroxide is a laxative (osmotic-type) that is thought to work by drawing water into the intestines, an effect that helps to cause movement of the intestines.
Simethicone is an effective antiflatulent. The clinical use of Simethicone is based on its antifoaming properties. The defoaming action of Simethicone relieves flatulence by dispersing and preventing the formation of mucus-surrounded gas pockets in the GI tract. It acts in the stomach and intestines to change the surface tension of gas bubbles, enabling them to coalesce; thus gas is freed and eliminated more easily by belching or passing flatus.

Aluminum Hydroxide, Magnesium Hydroxide are antacids used together to relieve heartburn, acid indigestion, and upset stomach. They may be used to treat these symptoms in patients with peptic ulcer, gastritis, esophagitis, hiatal hernia, or too much acid in the stomach (gastric hyperacidity).

For oral administration:
Adults
5-10ml taken 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals and at bedtime or as required.
Children
As an appropriate proportion of the adult dose.

Esomeprazole is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux, ulcers). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. It relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. This medication helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus. Esomeprazole belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).If you are self-treating with this medication, over-the-counter esomeprazole products are used to treat frequent heartburn (occurring 2 or more days a week).
Domperidone is a Dopamine antagonist .Because it does not readily enter the central nervous system, its effects are confined to the periphery and acts principally at the receptor in the chemoreceptor trigger zone.

Pantoprazole is used to treat damage from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which backward flow of acid from the stomach causes heartburn and possible injury of the esophagus (the tube between the throat and stomach) in adults and children 5 years of age and older. Pantoprazole is used to allow the esophagus to heal and prevent further damage to the esophagus in adults with GERD. It is also used to treat conditions where the stomach produces too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome in adults. Pantoprazole is in a class of medications called proton-pump inhibitors. Pantoprazole (Pantosel 40) is chemically a novel substituted benzimidazole derivative, which suppresses the final step in gastric acid production by forming a covalent bond to two sites of the H+, K+ - ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell. This leads to inhibition of both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion irrespective of the stimulus. The binding to the H+, K+ - ATPase results in duration of antisecretory effect that persists longer than 24 hours. Pantoprazole (Pantosel 40) is quantitatively absorbed and bioavailability does not change upon multiple dosing. Pantoprazole (Pantosel 40) is extensively metabolized in the liver. Almost 80% of an oral dose is excreted as metabolites in urine; the remainder is found in feces and originates from biliary secretion.

3. Treatment of ulcer resistant to H2 receptor antagonists (H2RAs)
4. Treatment of ulcers induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
5. Gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding from stress or acid peptic diseases
6. Eradication of Helicobacter pylori (in combination with antibiotics)
7. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
8. Prophylaxis for acid aspiration syndrome during induction of anaesthesia

The usual recommended adult oral dose is 40 mg given once daily, before breakfast. The duration of therapy is ranging from 2-8 weeks.
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: 4 Pantosel 40 mg tablets per day. Once control of acid secretion has been achieved, the dose should be gradually reduced to the lowest effective dose that maintains acid control.

SUCRAT- O Gel Sugar Free is a combination medicine used in the treatment of acidity, stomach ulcer, and heartburn. It helps in relieving the symptoms of acidity and ulcers such as stomach pain or irritation. It also neutralizes excessive acid in the stomach and helps in the easy passage of gas.
Sucralfate is a medication to treat ulcers. It covers the damaged ulcer tissue in the stomach and protects it from acid or injury to facilitate healing.
Oxetacaine / Oxethazaine is a local anesthetic whose numbing effect provides fast relief from pain caused due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach.

Take SUCRAT-O 10ml on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Avoid drinking anything immediately after taking SUCRAT-O.
