Indications:
Albendazole is an anthelmintic (an-thel-MIN-tik) or anti- worm medication used in the prevention and treatment of parasitic infections caused by tapeworms, pinworms and hookworms.

Dosage:
12 to 23 months: Albendazole susp 5 ml(half of 10ml bottle), single dose
24 to 36 months Albendazole susp10 ml (One bottle), single dose
37 to 60 months Albendazole tablet 400mg – 1 tablet single dose

Adult Dose for Neurocysticercosis: Less than 60 kg: 15 mg/kg/day orally in divided doses twice a day with meals. 60 kg or more: 400 mg orally twice a day with meals.
Duration of therapy: 8 to 30 days.
Adult Dose for Cutaneous Larva Migrans: 400 mg orally once a day for 3 to 7 days
Adult Dose for Ascariasis, Enterocolitis, Trichostrongylosis, Hookworm Infection: 400 mg orally as a single dose
Adult Dose for Pinworm Infection: 400 mg orally as a single dose; repeat in 2 weeks
Adult Dose for Filariasis: 400 mg orally twice a day for 10 days
Adult Dose for Visceral Larva Migrans: 400 mg orally twice a day for 5 days
Adult Dose for Strongyloidiasis: 400 mg orally twice a day for 7 days
Adult Dose for Trichinosis: 400 mg orally twice a day for 8 to 14 days
Adult Dose for Whipworm Infection: 400 mg orally once a day for 3 days
